Audio Engineering Diploma Program is designed by specialized figures to train participants to hold creative positions and paving the way for them towards professionalism in the field of audio recordings. Trainees gain, through the program, music recording skills as well as musical insulation, oxygenator and dubbing skills. Trainees also learn technical and creative aspects to use the modernist musical systems and get acquainted on studio work environment and sound and carrying out complex audio recording projects. The policy of this course depends on benefiting from both theoretical study and practical training and intensive workshops that trainees conduct.

 

Training Subjects :

Level (1)

Camera and Lighting Basics and Principles :

Trainees identify the different types of cameras as well as camera properties, installing camera and the importance of each aspect of using camera and lenses. They also learn camera angles, use and preparations in optimum run process.

Direction Basics and Principles Subject:

Trainees study the relationship between director and the elements of drama work- during its different stages starting from preparation stage reaching to the show and distribution stage. These are the stages of making TV works. Trainees identify direction role in making art in terms of its three stages (scenario, camera and montage).

 Audio Basics:

Trainees identify the human ear, sound nature and its properties and sound laws. They identify types of headphones, microphones and insulating material inside studio as well.

 

Work Ethics:

The subject aims at creating ethical concepts in the souls of media personalities in which work ethics are considered as an essential part of such works especially after the rapid spread of media and communication means. The subject covers media occupations and honor, honesty and truth exigencies in addition to media men ethics (producer, cameraman, editor, audio technician, lighting engineer, announcer …..) and media men duties.

Level (2)

Studio Techniques :

 Trainees study sound systems, show galleries, recording studio and control devices besides insulation types at recording rooms through practical training.

Practical Applications and Training :

Trainees identify making the different types of recordings inside the studio.

Level (3)

Trainees gain further experience to make oxygenator for different types of recordings either for drama or song.

Practical Applications and Training:

Trainees identify making the different types of recordings inside the studio through projects that trainees prepare under instructors supervision in order to determine mistakes and correcting them.  

Creative Workshop:

It covers practical applications and training on the points that have been already covered by the course which precedes graduation project. The step aims at empowering trainees to depend on information and skills they obtained during the course in order to prepare their graduation project soon.

Graduation Project :

Trainees submit graduation project after discussing it with the subject instructor in addition to project preparation and submitting it to a special committee to evaluate it.
