Trainees identify editing skills and techniques used in this field. They also receive practical intensive training on making digital editing and showing their creative skills through workshops, discussing some creative works and analyzing them by the most developed techniques and computer programs. At the end of the course, they will find out that they have enough experience to make their own films.

Level (1)
Camera and Lighting Basics and Principles:
Trainees identify the different types of cameras as well as camera properties, installing camera and the importance of each aspect of using camera and lenses. They also learn camera angles, use and preparations in optimum run process.
Direction Basics and Principles :
Trainees study the relationship between producer and the elements of drama work- during its different stages starting from preparation stage to the show and distribution stage. These are the stages of making TV works. Trainees identify direction role in making art in terms of its three stages (scenario, camera and editing).
Audio Basics Subject:
Trainees identify the human ear, sound nature and its properties and sound laws. They identify types of headphones, microphones and insulating material inside studio as well.
Work Ethics Subject:
The subject aims at creating ethical concepts in the souls of media men in which work ethics are considered as an essential part of such works especially after the rapid spread of media and communication means. The subject covers media occupations and honor, honesty and truth exigencies in addition to media men ethics (director, cameraman, editor, audio technician, lighting engineer, broadcaster …..) and media men duties.
Level (2)
Editing Basics:
Trainees study montage basics, editing and shots volume and using it and how to control pictures for editing besides the differences between song, drama, ad and documentary film editing.
Final Cut Pro Basics :
Trainees study Final Cut properties in terms or run and how to operate basic editing.
Practical Training :
Conducting practical training on applications of song, drama, ad and film montage.
Level (3)
Editing Theories :
Trainees study the process of montage development and theories which montage was built on since appearance till now. This subject covers different schools such as the Russian cinema, German and the Italian Realistic one and then the modern montage. The subject also focuses on montage concept difference and techniques of using it at each montage school.
Final Cut Pro Professionals:
It represents a crucial step towards advanced montage and completing artistic works wherein trainees learn how to develop shifting skills and correcting direction problems through using different cameras, filters and creating wonderful effects and correcting colors.
Practical Training:
It covers conducting practical exercises about applications and montage of song, drama, ad and documentary films.
Level (4)
Creative Workshop:
It covers practical applications and training on the points that have been already covered by the course which precedes graduation project. The step aims at empowering trainees to depend on information and skills they obtained during the course in order to prepare their graduation project soon.
Graduation Project:
Trainees submit graduation project after discussing it with the subject instructor in addition to project preparation and submitting it to a special committee to evaluate it. |
