3D Animation diploma study a number of core subjects that will provide the foundation for the more specialized modules. Modules include Design Basics, 2D Animation, , 3D Fundamentals and Pre-Production Fundamentals. In addition to core subjects 3D Animation students will take more advanced modules in animation and modelling, plus sound design and digital audio/video production.
All aspects of 3D animation are covered, including modelling, texturing, lighting, rigging, rendering and character animation. Alongside the core practical skills, students also learn enriching conceptual and theoretical topics such as art, design, communication, narrative and scripting.
Course objectives
